US-based food commodity trading Seafood / Agricultural commodities

Global sourcing. Controlled execution.

Prado connects defined seafood and agricultural commodity requirements with verified sourcing, then structures documentation, logistics, payment, and settlement controls through a US-based trading desk.

Verified sources Qualification before commitment Principal / Intermediary
01 / Trading desks

Two desks. One execution standard.

Every opportunity begins with a defined requirement. Sources and counterparties are verified against that requirement before Prado structures an approved transaction.

02 / The route

Qualification before commitment.

Verified sourcing is one control within a complete transaction process. Prado aligns requirements, counterparties, role, contracts, documents, logistics, payment, and settlement before execution.

REQ / 01

Define the requirement

Set the product, specification, quantity, packaging, destination, timing, documents, Incoterm, and proposed commercial terms.

VER / 02

Verify the source

Review supplier identity, capability, export readiness, documents, certifications, references, product fit, and commercial fit.

STR / 03

Secure the structure

Define Prado's role, contracting chain, price basis, tolerances, delivery, inspection, document set, payment instrument, settlement sequence, and risk controls.

EXE / 04

Execute the transaction

Coordinate approved production or allocation status, documents, inspection, booking, loading, payment conditions, shipment, and exceptions.

CLS / 05

Close and assess

Reconcile documents, settlement, delivery, claims, open items, and repeat suitability after the transaction.

03 / Operating model
The transaction determines Prado's role. The controls determine when Prado commits.
Role / 01

Principal trader

In an approved principal transaction, Prado may contract as buyer or seller, take title, and accept defined commercial or financial exposure under agreed terms.

Role / 02

Intermediary

In an intermediary transaction, Prado coordinates identified counterparties and execution requirements under an agreed mandate while contractual responsibilities remain with the defined parties.

Control statement: Verified sourcing supports the transaction; it does not replace contract. Availability, role, price, documents, logistics, payment, and delivery are confirmed through qualification, approval, and agreed terms.

04 / Inquiry

Start with the requirement.

Provide enough detail for Prado to review product fit, verified sourcing, transaction role, documents, logistics, payment, and settlement.

Commercially defined inquiries move fastest. Email the requirement sheet details to the trade desk and Prado will review whether the opportunity fits its current scope.
